I just finished watching If I stay and I don't think I have ever cried at a film more. It ripped my heart out through my eyes. It was a great film and I ordered the book straight away, i can't wait to read it.
Hey everyone, I'm Summer, I am a booktuber and I love reading, It's one of the things I enjoy the most.
I just finished watching If I stay and I don't think I have ever cried at a film more. It ripped my heart out through my eyes. It was a great film and I ordered the book straight away, i can't wait to read it.
Here is my video on all the books I've collected this month
I was torn between 2-3 because it was okay but it was partly to blame for a horrible slump- it took me nearly a month to read.
For some reason I found it really hard to really get into the world this book was set, I found it hard to empathize with the characters I think this was mainly as it was written in 3rd person and I have never really been a fan. I thought it took way too long to get into the main plot of the book, it was very slow and I felt it was just created to give some backstory to the second book, which I don't think I will be reading as even though I have a slight but of curiosity as to what happens it's not a strong enough desire. I thought this book was just ridiculously cheesy and I often found myself cringing at what was being said. To be honest I find the whole fallen angel concept cheesy and just boring in general. I also thought it was very predictable.
So I came across this from one of my favorite booktubers videos (WhittyNovels) and I like doing book tags so before I make the video I thought I would put my answers on here :) I shall upload this as a video on my youtube channel during the next week.
1-Where do you buy your books from?
When I buy books online I mainly use Ebay and world of books purely because I Like to find the cheapest price possible #studentlife
In the real world :O I usually shop at waterstones but I usally only buy 1-2 books there as they are quite expensive.
2-Do you ever pre orders book and if so do you do this in store or online?
No, I have never pre ordered a book, and I don't think I will in the foreseeable future
3-On average, how many books do you buy a month?
Some Months I buy so many but others I buy 0-1 So I'd say about 4-5 book as an average.
4-Do you used your local library? Yes, I use it quite alot.
5-If so- how my books can you/do you borrow at a time? I usually go to have a browse and because I love being surrounded by all the books but then a book will grab my attention, then another, then another until I have like 6 books...
6-What is your opinion on library books? The main problem I have with library books is that they always miss books out of a series so I may aswell go and buy that series.
7-How do you feel about charity shop/second hand books?
Most of the books I buy are second hand but I have become very good at finding them like new. Besides they have history :)
8-Do you keep your read and TBR pile together/on the same book shelf or not? No they are on separate shelves
9-Do you plan to read all of the books that you own? I will try however there are few exceptions.
10-What do you do with books you that you own that you feel you will never read/felt you did not enjoy? Store them away until I have a pile of them and sell them.
11-Have you ever donated books? Maybe when i was younger
12-Have you ever been on a book buying ban? I am on one right now, I really want to buy so many books but No.1: I am out of pocket. No.2: I would like to read most of the books on my TBR before I start buying more as the evergrowing TBR pile haunts me...
13-Do you feel that you buy too many books?
Well, book buying has become a little bit of an addiction so I'd probably say yes :)
When this video is out I will post a link onto my page
Happy Reading :)
Hey guys, this is my youtube channel about books where I do hauls, reviews, tbr's, wrap ups etc. I Would really appreciate your support :)
I'm so stuck as for what to read, it's between Cinder by Marissa Mayer but I have borrowed that from the library and they don't have the second book so I will have to order all of the books half way through reading Cinder.
Or The city of bones by Cassandra Claire, I have borrowed that from my friend but I'm only trying it out to decide weather to buy the whole series,
Or there is Fallen by Lauren Kate, My nan wanted me to read them so she let me borrow the whole series but I know nothing about it.
UGH decisions D:
